A Lifetime of Building on Cape Ann
I have been part of Cape Ann’s building community for over four decades. Born and raised in Gloucester, I got my start at Gloucester Vocational Technical School before apprenticing under several respected local builders and craftspeople. Over the years, I've worked with framers, cabinetmakers, and general contractors—picking up a wide range of skills and a deep respect for quality workmanship.
After years of working for others, I started my own business more than 25 years ago. What began as small, word-of-mouth jobs quickly grew into a trusted construction company known for fair pricing, honest communication, and dependable results. Today, most of our work still comes from referrals—families and homeowners who appreciate a job done right.

Keith Alves has been building homes and relationships across Cape Ann for more than 25 years. As a lifelong Gloucester resident and a graduate of Gloucester Vocational Technical School, Keith brings over 40 years of carpentry and construction experience to every project. From framing to fine finish work, his reputation is built on word of mouth, quality craftsmanship, and a commitment to doing the job right—because it takes just as long to do a bad job as it does to do a good one.
